Church of saint Marina

Feast day: July 17

Three-aisled domed basilica, the main entrance of which (west) has a five-arched portico. The north and south entrances are protected by canopies covered with tiles. The drum of the dome has arched windows. The church is illuminated by the cruciform and circular apertures, as well as the arched and double-arched windows. The bell tower is at the southwest end. The construction of the church began in the 1980s, to meet the growing needs of the community, after refugees from the southern occupied by the Turks areas of Cyprus settled in the area. The mural decoration of the church, painted by Alkis Kepolas, dates from the beginning of the next decade (1990). Above the northern entrance there is a mosaic depiction of saint Marina. The Spiritual Center of the community of Mosfiloti is housed in the annexes of the church. The feast day of the church is on the 17th of July.
