The church was erected in 2008 for serving the needs of the Slavic community of the area. The single-aisled church with the prominent semi-circular sanctuary is covered with white stone. Following the Russian tradition, the church has an onion dome with windows. There are also windows on all sides, as well as in the sanctuary. The main entrance (west) is sheltered by a double-pitched canopy. The belfry at the southwest has two levels and is covered by a ribbed dome. The church is covered with byzantine-style wall paintings in the Russian tradition. The wood-carved iconostasis and the icons also follow the Russian style. The church has a lending library which possesses books of religious, educational, literary and cultural content. The feast day of the church is on the 2nd of February.
