Chapel of Saint Marina
Feast day: July 17
A stone-built, single-aisled chapel with a pointed arch and a gabled roof with tiles. The belfry made of stone at the south-east, flanking the apse, is a later addition. The chapel has two entrances, on the west and on the south side. The windows are decorated with curved frames made of limestone, while the doors have also carved door-frames. On the frame of the southern entrance there is a carved relief cross with the Holy Lance and the Ladder on Golgotha, where the date 1928 is marked, the year in which the church was renovated. To the right of the south door there is a rectangular niche for placing the icon venerated during the litanies. The chapel was renovated in 1990. During the conservation works, remains of frescoes were found on the south wall, probably fragments of the frescoes of the church of saint Paraskevi, reused for the construction of the chapel of saint Marina. The chapel owns significant icons dating to the 17th century. The feast day of the chapel is on the 17th of July.
